Sensitize and Empower Tanzania (SET), is a dedicated non-governmental organization (NGO) committed to fostering sustainable development and empowering communities across Tanzania. At SET, we believe in the transformative power of education, equitable access to resources, and environmental stewardship to uplift lives and build resilient societies.
Established with a mission to address socio-economic disparities and promote inclusivity, SET operates with a steadfast commitment to improving the quality of life for Tanzanian communities. Through our multifaceted initiatives in education, water and sanitation, health, and environmental conservation, in collaboration with other stakeholder and volunteer, we strive to create lasting impact and drive positive change.
OBJECTIVES
- Foster cultural exchange and promote essential human values through impactful volunteer programs.
- To promote Sustainable development by collaborating with local communities to initiate and sustain projects that enhance environmental conservation, stimulate economic growth, and bolster community resilience.
- To expand educational opportunities by enhancing educational infrastructure, awarding scholarships, and implementing programs that foster lifelong learning and skill development, especially to marginalized communities.
- To empower economic growth: by fostering economic independence and prosperity within communities through initiatives that encourage entrepreneurship, vocational training, and effective job placement.
- To advocate social equality through championing policies and practices that uphold social justice, gender equality, and inclusivity, ensuring dignity and respect for all community members.
